The two main types of drywall joints are tapered joints, where two tapered edges of drywall sheets meet, and butt joints, where two non-tapered ends meet. It is important to note that WEATHERCAP® products are specifically designed for exterior masonry and stone applications, not for interior drywall finishing, which requires different materials and techniques.

Type B is a 90° cove cap used for right-angle joints, like where a projecting lintel or water table meets a vertical wall, or at the perimeter of window frames and glass block panels.
