WEATHERCAP® is installed within the sealant-filled joints between pool coping stones. Its soft lead construction flexes as the deck and pool shell move, protecting the sealant from tearing. WEATHERCAP® is a solid, stable lead product embedded within a sealant joint, so it is not in direct contact with pool water or swimmers. The lead oxidizes to a neutral grey finish and is highly resistant to corrosion and mold. Installers should follow standard safety protocols for handling lead products, such as wearing gloves.

Our lead joint caps naturally oxidize to a neutral grey color that blends well with most masonry, concrete, and stone materials. For custom design requirements, the caps can also be painted to match specific aesthetic needs, providing flexibility while ensuring a protected, seamless finish for your pool coping and surrounding deck area.

We offer a range of stock sizes in both Type A (Flat) and Type B (90° Cove) configurations to fit various joint widths, typically from under 3/8 inch up to 1 1/2 inches.
